Bryant Returns to NFL After Four-Year Hiatus
Free Agent Wide Receiver Joins Washington
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant, a free agent since 2018, has signed with the Washington Commanders, the team announced Tuesday.
Bryant, 30, played college football at Clemson and was drafted by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with Pittsburgh, catching 141 passes for 2,147 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Bryant was released by the Steelers in 2018 following multiple suspensions for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He has not played in the NFL since.
