The Dallas Mavericks Are Heading to the NBA Finals

Was Game 4 simply a matter of Mavs shooters not being makers?

The Dallas Mavericks are heading to the NBA Finals following a 124-103 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The Mavs took a 3-1 lead in the series and will now face the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.

The Mavericks were led by Luka Dončić, who had 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists. Kyrie Irving added 26 points, and Dorian Finney-Smith had 24 points. The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards, who had 22 points. Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points, and D'Angelo Russell had 18 points.

The Mavericks shot 52.4% from the field and 38.9% from three-point range. The Timberwolves shot 41.7% from the field and 28.2% from three-point range.

The Mavericks will now have a few days off before they begin the NBA Finals. The Finals will start on Thursday, June 1st.
