23-Year-Old Winger Makes Major Transfer

WEB Dan Ndoye, the 23-year-old Swiss striker, has signed a long-term contract with Italian Serie A club FC Bologna. The right-winger, who previously played for Swiss Super League side FC Basel, joined Bologna on a free transfer.

Ndoye, who was born in Nyon, Switzerland, has been capped three times by the Swiss national team. He has impressed at club level, scoring 25 goals in 102 appearances for Basel. He was also named the Swiss Super League Young Player of the Year in 2019.

Bologna, currently 12th in Serie A, will be hoping that Ndoye can help them improve their attacking output. The club has struggled for goals this season, scoring just 22 goals in their opening 20 matches.

Ndoye is expected to make his debut for Bologna when they face Juventus in Turin on Sunday.
